Today we are going to talk about the rodameio, which is a protection band or division between the floor and the ceiling, in the middle height. Because it is a frame, the rodaments can be made of different materials with different finishes and colors. How about meeting them now?
Types and materials used to make a rodame
The rodaments sold in the market can be found with the following materials:
- Plaster : this material is widely used to make crown molding . It can have a classic or custom design that can also be done with the rodameio.
- wood : it is a classic material to be used as rodameio, with the paint and the adequate protection, its durability is great.
- MDF : Medium Density Fiberboard is a board made of planks of pressed fibers, resulting in a light and sturdy material.
- Polystyrene or polyurethane : generally called plastics, these two materials are synthetic substances (polymers) that have different chemical and composition properties. Expanded polystyrene is popularly known as Isopor®.

How to clean the rod?
Cleaning the rod can be simple, use a brush to remove dust from the ends and a damp cloth to wipe the surface. Much of the rhodium is white, so the dirt is easily visible.
