- Leave the doors of the wardrobes open whenever possible to air your clothes and avoid excess moisture, especially on hot, dry days;
- Invest in dehumidifiers in the colder, wetter months, especially if your home receives little sunlight;
- Leather is a very susceptible material to mold, so you should remove the leather parts with greater regularity and leave them exposed to the sun whenever possible;
- Pieces of school chalk, baking soda, lime or plaster can be distributed inside cabinets to help absorb moisture. From time to time replace them with new ones;
- Try also to air the environment by opening doors and windows to circulate the air in the rooms;
- At least once a month take your clothes out of the cabinets and wipe them with water and vinegar or a mixture of water, white vinegar and bleach in a one-to-one ratio;
