The construction of a townhouse is the main choice for those who intend to have a single-family residence, it is a quick construction, with space saving and consequently more economical. This type of home has always been seen with a simpler architecture, but today it can be built with a modern architectural style, with different models and proposals.
In the upper houses, the social part and the intimate part are separated, with rooms in the lower floor and dormitories in the upper floor. With this distribution logic, many people with single storey house have been expanding their building to a single storey house with the same base structure as the lower one, when applicable.
The advantage of building a townhouse is that it has a more imposing look, with a different architecture and the possibility of having a double and high ceiling in the living room. One of the disadvantages is the use of stairs, infeasible for families with elderly people or difficulty of locomotion.
A townhouse does not need to be linear and have both floors with the same size, some more modern designs work different sizes for both floors, suiting the need of the owners.
Coating materials are the great differential of the facades, among them the apparent concrete, wood, stones, bricks, textures, paintings and porcelanatos. The glass is present in windows that can have narrow, vertical or horizontal formats.
