Congregationalists have in the past characterized their way of life as consisting of Faith, Freedom, and Fellowship. That faith is a mutual bond among Congregationalists should be self-evident. The heritage of Christianity is rich. The Congregational contribution as a way of Christian living is important. Faith brings us to God and each other. Freedom allows us to covenant and form a living relationship with God and our fellow Christians. Which brings us to fellowship. Fellowship is the experience common to our faith. Fellowship can be the basis of Christian renewal and dynamic faith. The ICF seeks to place travelers on the Congregational Way together and enrich the fellowship of our faithful witness throughout the world. "Therefore, Encourage One Another . . ." 1 Thessalonians 5:11a The 9th Quadrennial Assembly of the ICF in 2009 Thursday, July 23 - Wednesday, July 29
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States of America The International Congregational Fellowship meets every four years. The occasion of a quadrennial meeting allows for that for which the organization is named: fellowship. A gathering which places a high priority on fellowship captures much of the New Testament's prioritization. Genuine fellowship refreshes and renews as nothing else. Guest Accommodations will be on the campus of the Wisconsin Lutheran College. Registration forms and developing event information will be posted later in 2008.
